We are able to offer a range of bespoke Trekking and Mountain Walking trips to various regions in the UK or Europe.
Led by fully qualified Mountain Leaders or International Mountain Leaders, these trips are suitable for groups and are arranged by special request.
Popular UK areas include the Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia & Lake District National Parks or Scotland.
Alternatively we have very close links with Chamonix in the French Alps and know this and other areas in the Haute-Savoie intimately.
Trips can be fully customised and we offer a wide range of choices from day walks to multi-day expeditions with a variety of different accommodation options possible.
Iain, the founder and owner of the Adventurous Activity Company, holds the prestigious International Mountain Leader Award. This qualification allows him to lead Trekking and winter Snowshoeing activities anywhere in the world.
He is also available to lead trips and treks both in the UK and overseas on a freelance basis should you require the services of a fully qualified International Mountain Leader. www.baiml.org
Snowshoeing
Snowshoe trekking is a fantastic way to cover non-technical snow covered ground in and around the mountains of the UK and Europe in winter. Snowshoeing is easy to learn and very rewarding. It also gives you the opportunity to view the landscape and environment from a completely different perspective.
Snowshoe trekking trips can be arranged by special request.
Navigation
Individual or private Mountain Navigation courses from Introductory to Advanced Level are also available should you want to learn or brush up on your navigation skills.
These can take place as a single day activity or over several days and can be offered in a variety of locations.
