Bristol Urban Adventure Challenge
Ready for a real challenge?
Running since 2004, the Bristol Urban Adventure Challenge is the most popular activity we offer, especially for Stag & Hen and Corporate groups. It is a lot of fun, very rewarding, always gets really competitive and is guaranteed to get your group buzzing.
This unique activity is based around elements of treasure hunting, problem solving, adventure racing and orienteering by combining physical, cerebral, initiative and team working skills. Think 'The Crystal Maze meets The Krypton Factor meets Challenge Anneka' (if you can remember!).
The Bristol Urban Adventure Challenge is conveniently set around Bristol's historic harbourside and other interesting areas in close proximity. We have divided this area into a number of different zones.
The challenge involves two or more teams competing against one other in order to identify and navigate to as many of these zones as possible by using map, compass and clues given in their game pack. Within each zone are a series of challenges, problems, conundrums and tasks that teams must try to solve in order to score points.
Undertaken on foot (and also by canoe or bike depending on the chosen activity format), the Urban Challenge is suitable for people of all fitness levels and abilities. It has been specifically designed with team working in mind so as to be 'All Inclusive', in that it will appeal to as wide a range of participants as possible with something for everyone.
In addition, it is possible to include one or more optional additional physical elements into the game. These can take the form of Climbing, Abseiling, Canoeing, Bell Boating, Orienteering, Mountain Biking, Geo-Caching & Team Building & Problem Solving games and challenges.
The Bristol Urban adventure Challenge can be run in a variety of different formats over a half day, full day or evening and can be run with or without any of the optional physical elements.
We tailor every Urban Adventure Challenge to meet your group's specific requirements, time constraints and budget and can advise on the most appropriate activity format for your group.
This activity offers an outstanding opportunity for those with a sense of adventure and fun, a healthy competitive spirit and who enjoy a challenge.
