Canoeing:

Our Canoeing activities generally take place in Bristol's historic harbourside directly from our canoeing base right on the water.

We offer an introduction to canoeing through the heart of Bristol or fully guided paddles around the ever-changing harbourside. This is an opportunity to see Bristol from a completely different perspective.

Canoeing is mainly undertaken in large, stable 2/3 person open Canadian style canoes which makes for a fun, relaxing and alternative mode of transport.

We tailor every session to meet your specific requirements and can focus on running fun sessions with lots of games, challenges and races, teach paddling skills or journey through the heart of Bristol. Or a bit of everything!

Canoeing is one of the most popular options to include in our Bristol Adventure Day or Bristol Urban Adventure Challenge where we can also offer a Canoe Orienteering Challenge as one of the physical options. Canoeing can also be booked as a separate activity for a morning, afternoon or evening session.

All equipment and instruction are provided and all canoeing activities are suitable for novice or experienced paddlers, regardless of age, ability or fitness.

Bell Boating:

Similar to a Dragon Boat, Bell Boating is a fun and rewarding activity. The Bell Boat is incredibly stable, seats up to 12 people and requires good teamwork and communication to get the boat moving efficiently.

This is a popular activity to include with our Bristol Urban Adventure Challenge, and is perfect for
Stag & Hen or Corporate Groups looking to include a competitive element into the day. We frequently include a time trial challenge between two fixed points whilst out on the boat or can include a leisurely journey through Bristol's harbourside. Perfect for Summer or those cold Winter months!

Kayaking:

Kayaking takes place in single seat boats in and around Bristol's harbour.

We will teach you all of the necessary paddle strokes in order to allow you to get the boat moving in a straight line before moving onto more advanced skills. We play plenty of games and challenges whilst out on the water and can also include a journey around the harbourside.
