Ultimate Abseil Day

This is our ultimate full-day abseiling activity designed to inspire, excite and thrill.

The day involves abseiling in some of the most varied and extreme locations in and around Bristol.
By controlling your own descent with back up from an instructor you'll be rewarded with an unforgettable experience.

From an initial warm up abseil to the monster 50 metre test piece, we'll take you abseiling at two or three different locations for an adrenaline filled day. We have chosen a variety of locations each of which offers very different surroundings, experiences and emotions.

Venues used include:

• A steeply wooded combe about 15 minutes from Bristol, where you'll be standing high above the valley floor looking down over the tree tops.
• Bristol's Avon Gorge, a couple of miles from the city centre. Several abseil take off points are possible high above the River Avon. Heights range from 25 metre's to the awesome 50 metre high abseil from near the top of the Gorge to the bottom. The big abseil will really test your nerve and is not for the faint-hearted!
• Our third location offers magnificent views over the Bristol Channel. This venue, located in a disused quarry near to Weston-Super-Mare, involves a sheer, slightly overhanging cliff face 40 metres high. This abseil is very exposed, and will give you a real buzz.

Although this is one of our most extreme adventure days, no previous experience is needed and all equipment and instruction is provided.
