Charity Abseil Bristol

We are specialists in running charity fundraising abseils in and around Bristol, the South West and the rest of the UK. We use various abseil locations in and around Bristol and have also set up many bespoke abseils down cliffs, buildings, churches and even a dam.

We will work with you in order to put the event together and can advise on the best way to organise the day so that it runs smoothly and gives everyone a day they’ll never forget. Our team of professional instructors are extremely well qualified, experienced and patient and will put even the most nervous abseilers at ease.

Organising a Charity Abseil is a simple and cost effective way of raising a significant amount of money whist giving supporters a chance to safely try a challenging, fun and exhilarating activity.

If you have a building or other venue in mind that you may be considering for an abseil event then please contact us to discuss this further as we can assess its suitability for an abseil.

    What You Say About Us...

Great day guys, thank you for all of your efforts. I feel today you brought out a side of people in the workplace that we rarely get to see, which was really nice to see. I think everybody had a great time and it was great to hear people clapping and cheering their colleagues on and raised a lot of money for Children in need at the same time. Thank you very much.

Can you please pass on my thanks to the two instructors from the abseil who made me feel completely safe and confident in going over the edge! Their professionalism and calm attitude really put me at ease and made me enjoy the challenge.I would definitely do it again.
    Thanks again.

    Hi Iain,
Just a quick thank you from the whole team. It went like clockwork, the timings were perfect, to the minute!! Everyone commented on the professional way the day was constructed. We would have no reservations whatsoever about recommending Adventurous Activity to anyone wanting an exciting but safely run experience.
    Thanks again. Best wishes.

    Hi Iain,
I thought you’d be interested to see an article from the magazine of the macular society which features our abseil. I am pleased they gave you a mention. Your expertise and that of your team made our day very successful. Since the preparation of that article by the Society our funds have gone up further and we have raised over £4000 thank you so much for helping us.

Thank you Iain, to you and your team for such a successful afternoon. Everyone came away with a very positive attitude and all said they enjoyed it, but a few said “never again”.
Your organisation was excellent and we were most impressed. I thank you for your quick response to all my emails.
Please pass on our thanks to Andrew and the rest of you team for their help and patience. It was a memorable afternoon. Thank you.

Just a quick email to say thank you so much for the abseil event. It went really well and everyone enjoyed it. The money we raised is coming in and it looks like we might have made about £3000…so that’s great!!! I will keep your contact and email you again some time next year when I am thinking of another event to do. Thank you again.

    Hi Iain,
Thank you so much for a fantastic day yesterday. It went so well and we all had a truly tremendous day. You were both so great to work with and I don’t think the event could have gone smoother. Everyone said what a great time they had. We’ve got good coverage in the Bristol Post today too, so there’s some lovely press awareness alongside all the fundraising.

I look forward to hearing from you and perhaps working together again before too long! All the best.

    Dear Iain (and your team),
Thank you very much for an extremely enjoyable abseil today at the Avon Gorge.
After initial nerves, it was great fun. I’ll certainly recommend the Avon Gorge abseil experience to my colleagues at Meade King.
    Best wishes.
