Canoeing – See Bristol from a different perspective

Canoeing is one of our most popular year round activities starting directly from our Bristol Harbourside base in close proximity to the city centre.

In our large, stable 2/3 man open Canadian canoes we can take a journey through the historic Harbour and  play lots of games, races and challenges whilst on the water if the group are up for it.

The most popular option is to join pairs of canoes together to make even more stable catamarans. Each catamaran can comfortably seat between 4 – 6 people so is very sociable and provides a virtually unsinkable double hulled canoe, perfect for games, races and journeys.

This activity is always lots of fun and guaranteed to get the group buzzing.

  • Our Harbourside base is conveniently located within walking distance of the city centre

Catamaran Canoeing – Perfect for large groups or cold & windy days

An alternative option is to join two canoes together and make an even more stable catamaran. Each catamaran can comfortably seat between 4 – 6 people so is very sociable and provides a virtually unsinkable double hulled canoe.

We can still play the same games and races as well as going on a journey. Occasionally if it’s particularly windy we’ll join the boats up anyway to make them more stable and easier to control. This is a great option to consider if you have anyone in the group who doesn’t like the idea of capsizing or for cold & windy days when you definitely don’t want to get wet.

    What You Say About Us...

    Hi Iain,
Just a quick message to say a big thank you to Matt & yourself for our canoeing yesterday. We all loved the journey up to Castle Park & back (what a peaceful way to travel) & the games at the end were just right. Matt was the right combination of being organised & supportive, relaxed & friendly – we didn’t feel rushed when we made a slightly later start due to a couple of friends arriving a bit late from London. All of our party enjoyed the experience very much.
